This page explains how to request deletion of your BookNStyle account and the data associated with it, what gets deleted, what we are required to keep, and for how long.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the BookNStyle app and sign in.
- Tap the You tab (the rightmost tab). Professionals should open the profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen, past Sign out.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Deletion begins immediately and you are signed out.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@booknstyle.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify ownership of the address before acting on the request and complete verified requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following are permanently removed from our active systems:
- Your login credentials and authentication records
- Your name, email address, phone number, and profile details
- Your profile photo and any portfolio or service photos you uploaded
- Any government-issued ID photo you submitted for an age-restricted booking
- Your messages, reviews, ratings, and favorites
- Your saved payment methods, which are removed from our payment processor
- For professionals: an active or trial BookNStyle Pro plan is cancelled immediately, with no further charges (no refund for the current period)
- For professionals: your business profile, service menu, availability, and intake forms
- Your push-notification tokens and device identifiers
What is kept, and for how long
A limited set of records is retained because law or legitimate business need requires it. These records are kept separately from your profile and are not used to contact you or to rebuild your account.

Payment records held by our payment processor, Stripe, are subject to Stripe’s own retention requirements as a regulated financial-services provider. Reviews you wrote may remain visible in anonymized form, with your name and photo removed.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to close your account to remove specific content. In the app you can delete individual photos, reviews, messages, and saved payment methods, and professionals can remove services and intake forms. To request removal of particular data, email support@booknstyle.com describing what you would like removed.
Timing
In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Copies may remain in our encrypted backups, as described above. Email requests are completed within 30 days of verifying your identity.
